parietal flowers of your (mouth, eyes, ears)
plication and pleating of the house plants lives

revel in it: swim in it.
litter your hands with it.

house plants, house cats, house shadows on the grass,
all so orthogonal and plain.

oh
your
grasp
and
tales so phatic, maybe penitent but never dull.
maybe.
maybe your
parasitism should be pushed to perdition
maybe the limbs of the house plants will
pave your terrene and turning gaze.

oh dear
votre sentiment est tardive et vil et pâle.
your sentiment is late and vile and pale

your writing is uniquely lovely, your images at once overwhelming and delicate. the almost casual but oh-so-right placement of beautiful words and alliterations; the way you manage to say so much in such few words while leaving so much more in the pale: exquisite.

A "wow" moment, followed soon by a flurry of activity with my Enclyclopedic Dictionary - the largest I own.
This is gonna' be worth it - even pip's presence in comments tells me that.
I think he suggested this for a DLD, is that right?
At any rate, it's a :+fav: for me. Thank you. And congratulations on the DLD.

and a "wow" moment for me as well,
thank you :)
the bigger the dictionary the better,
but i sure do hope it was worth
the search for words.

thank you very much

jeepers, Sara! i had to look up five words, and then,
couldn't find two until i got out my old Webster's.

like Sebastian in Blade Runner, it appears you
got a sudden inspiration, only one not deadly.
after translating the obscure terms, i have to
wonder whom you speak of, or to.

maybe i have some interesting guesses, but i'll
sit on them. anyway, it's fun reading this lovely
and fascinating poem over and over, deciphering
perhaps what you're saying.

i hope you, your family and, if your still with him,
Jorden are all well, your grandparents too.

happy holidays and birthday, my friend...

I've been spending all my time learning
all sorts of new words ;)

who this is about varies day by day.
also varying is my intervals of
inspiration (sporadic and few)

we are all well indeed.
thank you, and thank you, pip.

Happy holidays!
(to little David too! :) )

my daughter, Linda, in her teens,
would read the dictionary, when she
didn't have anything better to do.

she's moved to Boston from Santa Fe,
brought her man with her. yes!

the mind is your workroom
words are your tools
intelligence your power source
Sara, you do have it all

great to hear from you...
pippery ;)
